Our Roots: The origin of “MAWUSI” is from the Ewe dialect in Ghana and translates “In God’s Hands”. As founders who originate from Ghana and Nigeria we wanted to share with you  our roots of agriculture, sustainability, community and the beauty of nature. We have carefully hand-picked each plant in our store and subscription boxes to give you a sense of rejuvenation and joy. Our services don’t stop once the plant is at your door, our  team is here on hand to provide you with useful tips to help your plants blossom in the most simple way.

Our Mission: We believe in the ethos of giving back to our community not for a moment but as a movement. We are thrilled to partner with Kwanda to give 5% of our profits each month to support their work. Kwanda is a modern day collection pot that builds reliable and empowering systems for Black communities. We are excited to be apart of the community of villagers at Kwanda.
